Client: Health Care Organization
Challenge: Coach senior manager
to manage up more effectively.
Solution: Held semi-monthly
meetings over a 5-month period that included data gathering from
the client's manager, peers, and direct reports; feedback; and ongoing
coaching. Developed a concrete set of actions to change both behaviors
and perceptions of behaviors to open up career possibilities.
Executive Coaching with 360-Degree Feedback
Client: Financial Services Organization
Challenge: Provide coaching
to a group of senior executives based on a 360-degree feedback process,
helping them identify their strengths and weaknesses, prioritize
actions, and communicate their plans to their managers.
Solution: Provided support to
client while creating the 360 feedback assessment. Created a customized
Planning Guide to maximize analysis and use of the assessment. Met
with each person being coached for three sessions. Ensured that
managers understood their data, identified patterns, determined
action plans, and communicated their action steps with their managers.
On-the-Job Training
Client: Life Sciences Company
Challenge: Provide coaching to
trainers responsible for on-the-job training for technical personnel.
Technical personnel were nodding their heads and signing forms,
implying that they understood the material, but their on-the-job
performance indicated that they were not absorbing the information.
Solution: Reviewed existing
SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and associated training materials.
Recommended standard format for materials, including additional
visual/graphic materials, measurable objectives, FAQs (Frequently
Asked Questions), standardized footers, quizzes, and more. Provided
guidance on developing and delivering on-the-job training. |
