Our Team
Ken De Loreto
Ken De Loreto is a consultant and instructional
designer, specializing in the areas of sales, management, and leadership
development. Mr. De Loreto has significant experience consulting,
designing, and facilitating for varied audience levels, from front-line
to senior team, in organizations ranging from small start-ups to
large, global firms. His ability to work from the initial needs
assessment through to implementation and measurement of results
makes Ken a valuable core team member as well as facilitator for
more targeted efforts.
Mr. De Loreto was previously a Senior Vice President
of The Forum Corporation. While at Forum, his role focused on consulting
and designing results-producing learning experiences for complex
client projects, serving as lead consultant/ designer on many national
and global initiatives. In addition to his client work, he also
managed and led a team of seven consultants.
Mr. De Loreto applies his 15 years of consulting
experience with learning theory to drive pragmatic endeavors
that solve clients' business problems. His experience spans a wide
range of industries including professional services, pharmaceuticals,
financial services, retail, and consumer products. His client list
includes American Express, AT&T, Deloitte & Touche, Disney, General
Electric, Intuit, Mobil Europe, and UPS.
For American Express, he helped to increase efficiencies
in learning module development, significantly reducing cycle time
and costs for the client. His work contributed to American Express'
receipt of the first Gold Chairman's Award for Quality given to
a learning project.
With Mr. De Loreto's contribution as lead designer
on the design,development, and implementation of a
multi-year firm-wide curriculum, Deloitte & Touche was acknowledged
in 2000 by the American Society for
Training and Development for Organizational Excellence in Practice.
Mr. De Loreto has also had the opportunity to
provide pro bono consulting for Miss Halls School for girls in Massachusetts
and St. Mary's Hospital for children in New Jersey. He also serves
as Board Vice-Chair of
IS183 Art School of the Berkshires, a non-profit community-based
art school.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in French, with concentration
in communication, from Assumption College.
Ken works from a virtual office located in The
Berkshires. He finds that this arrangement keeps him in balance
and leaves him better able to provide the crucial levels of calm
insight, thoughtfulness, and openness that
benefit his clients. In addition, it allows him to explore his personal
passion of acting. He has had the
opportunity over the past two years to be part of numerous theatrical
productions, and loves every minute of it.
