Our Team
Betsy Gillis
Betsy Gillis has over 15 years of experience
in learning and performance development. Her areas of expertise
include instructional design, development, facilitation, project
management, and process consulting. Her recent work includes analysis
and documentation of a year-long leadership training process for
Management Sciences for Health and creation of a web-based training
needs analysis survey for Texas Instruments.
Ms. Gillis was previously an Implementation Project
Manager with the client services
group at the internet company, SchoolSuccess.net. In this role,
she was responsible for managing relationships and projects with
major clients. Her work included leading a technical design team
that created a web-based tutorial and supporting practice modules.
Ms. Gillis worked for The Forum Corporation in
the areas of research, design, development, facilitation, faculty
management, and project management. She also worked in the Center
for Project Quality, providing project management training for all
levels of learners, developing websites in support of project managers,
and an intranet-based project management toolkit. Ms. Gillis designed,
developed, and delivered learning solutions
with knowledge management components for a broad array of clients.
Ms. Gillis' clients have included: Altana Pharmaceuticals,
BiogenIDEC, Blue Cross Blue Shield MA, Combinatorx, Family Education
Network, Genzyme, Harcourt, Home Depot, Liberty Mutual, Management
Sciences for Health, Putnam Investments, Standard and Poors, Texas
Instruments, Thomson Financial, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, World Bank,
and Xerox.
Ms. Gillis holds a Master’s Degree in Adult and Organizational
Learning from Suffolk University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration from Saint Michael’s College.
