Melisa Gillis, M.Ed.
Melisa Gillis is passionate about helping clients foster development and create strategies that sustain positive growth in today’s ever-changing marketplace. She has over 20 years of experience delivering powerful solutions designed to help leaders, teams, and organizations improve performance.
Prior to working as an independent consultant, Ms. Gillis was Vice President of Organizational Growth and Development with Danvers Bank (formerly Danvers Savings Bank).
Ms. Gillis received a B.S. in Education and a Masters in Education from Boston University. She has presented at conferences and universities including the Association for Experiential Education, International Conference, Women In Management, Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility, Boston Facilitator Roundtable and the University of Southern Maine. Her efforts have been recognized in Banker & Tradesman, Portland Press Herald, and Focus on Study Circles.
Ms. Gillis' certifications and qualifying workshops have included The Balanced Scorecard, Human Dynamics, Power and Systems, Consulting, Coaching and Change, The Instrument of Self as Agent of Change, Flawless Consulting, MBTI, DiSC, Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, Experiential Learning/Training (including ropes courses, indoor team initiatives, and wilderness trips).
Ms. Gillis has worked with clients in manufacturing, financial services, scientific research and development, and academia. A select list of clients includes 3M, Fallon Community Health, GE, Harvard University, MIT Sloan, Sepracor, TAFA Praxair, U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research Design Center, UpJohn, and Wentworth Institute for Technology.

Melisa lives in historic Danvers, Massachusetts with her two children. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys travel. She is fascinated with people and relies on her experiences with them to continuously improve her knowledge and skills.
