Lynn Russell

Lynn Russell specialises in the design, development and delivery of facilitation skills, leadership, key account management, sales and customer service training programmes to organisations throughout Europe, Africa, and the US.

Lynn believes passionately that learning and development is key to business success.  She favours a lively, engaging, participative and consultative style which gives participants the opportunity to experiment through exercises, discussions and activities.  She believes strongly in the right balance between challenge and support and encourages participants to think for themselves.

Currently, Lynn works with Exxon Mobil, EDF Energy, Connaught, Burberry, Barclays and Swiss Re in the USA, Europe, Middle East and Africa.  With ExxonMobil her role involves training and coaching new leaders and account managers on leadership and key account management skills.  With Connaught, Lynn is currently designing a company wide training curriculum for frontline staff through to leaders in Customer Care, Leadership, and Coaching.

Other design and development projects have included a sales and negotiation skills training programme to meet the particular needs of the Supplies division at Hewlett Packard, and for GE Healthcare, Lynn designed and developed a Strategic Account Team Leader programme and a Strategy Planning workshop for senior level managers.

Lynn has also worked extensively in Europe and North America as an associate for American Express. Her role involved training and coaching customer service and operations staff, field and telephone sales teams, middle and senior managers and divisional heads on the American Express Global Sales Curriculum.  Other clients with whom Lynn has worked include Waterstones, Nike, Sainsburys, Citibank, Bank of America, Brambles, Southern Water, Lufthansa, Diversey Lever, LSI Logic, GUS Home Shopping, Dupont, SunGard, Vodafone, PPG Industries, PPP Healthcare, Commercial Bank of Mauritius and Hidden Hearing.

Lynn is currently studying for an Open University degree in Psychology. Lynn earned an Intermediate Diploma in French from the Institute of Linguists and has co-facilitated programmes to French speaking audiences.  Lynn is a certified Practitioner of NLP and is qualified in Level A and Level B Occupational Testing, using the Myers Briggs Personality Instrument.
